Governor Threatens to Kill ARC Project
The ARC tunnel project is intended to create two rail lines beneath the Hudson to connect New Jersey and New York City. Latest estimates have indicated that the project is running billions of dollars over budget by its expected completion in 2018. Despite additional budget coming from the Port Authority and federal government, Governor Christie threatened during the last few weeks that he would kill the project. His decision is expected soon. What do you think of this one, tunnel vision or fiscally responsible? Sound off, New Jersey.
