Warrants Needed to Track Cell Phone Data

Today the New Jersey supreme court ruled that police now need warrants to track crime suspects by tracing their cell phone signals. 



With this 7-0 vote, our state became the first in the country to have such a requirement.  Rather than texting your friends to comment, we want to hear what you have to say about this one right here.  Sound off, New Jersey!

Minimum Wage in New Jersey

A new study reported today by New Jersey Policy Perspective found that more than 400,000 low-paid workers in our state would benefit from a ballot measure that would raise our minimum wage from $7.25 to $8.25 an hour.

NJ Tourism at Record High

The New Jersey tourism results from 2012 are in, and the numbers may be surprising to all of us hit by hurricane Sandy. 



Despite the mess that the fall months brought us, tourism revenue was more than 40 billion dollars last year, more than the peak prior to the economic downturn several years ago.  Now there's some good news.  Sound off, New Jersey!

Alien Fish in NJ?

Have you seen the photo of the freaky alien-like fish creature presumably caught in a river New Jersey? 


It went viral on Reddit.  Some have said it's a photoshopped fake, but others are convinced it's real.  Regardless of what you think, we recommend that you stay out of the water for a while.  Sound off, New Jersey!
