NJ Tourism at Record High
The New Jersey tourism results from 2012 are in, and the numbers may be surprising to all of us hit by hurricane Sandy.

Governor Vetoes Minimum Wage Increase
Today Governor Christie vetoed an increase in the minimum wage that was passed by the state senate. Christie's conditional veto made provisions that he would sign the bill if certain changes were made, including limiting the increase to $8.25 instead of $8.50, phasing the increase in over three years, and eliminating a provision tying the wage to inflation. There's been a lot of chatter about this one, so we know you'll have opinions. Sound off, New Jersey!

Ticket Refunds
Partial refunds will be granted to motorists in 18 New Jersey municipalities who were cited for running red lights by automated systems using cameras, according to a class action lawsuit settlement announced today. Plaintiffs claimed that the yellow lights did not provide motorists with enough time to get through the intersection. We can see you waving those tickets in the air as we write this.
